The largest passenger ship in the world

At 248 663 gross tonnage (GT), Icon of the Seas and her sister ships, built by Meyer Turku in Finland, are the largest cruise ships in the world. This magnificent luxury liner has a crew of 2350, and a capacity of 5610 passengers at double occupancy, or 7600 passengers at maximum capacity. As an example, the ship carries 20 decks with seven swimming pools and six water slides.

Piikkio Works delivered 2760 passenger and 1290 crew cabins for Icon of the Seas using modular construction technology. These modern cabins feature a high level of automation, including advanced lighting and climate control systems.
