Esa Saarinen appointed as the new CEO of Piikkio Works

Before joining Piikkio Works, Saarinen worked at Oras, where he was responsible for leading Oras’ faucet manufacturing plant in Rauma and served as the local site director for the Rauma operations. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at Valmet Automotive EV Power Oy, where he was responsible for operational leadership of the company’s battery business.

In addition, Saarinen has previous experience in CEO roles across different companies and brings extensive international business experience from the technology industry.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from LUT University and an Executive MBA degree from Tampere University of Technology.

At Piikkio Works, Saarinen’s main focus will be on developing the company’s current business operations and accelerating the growth of its railway business.
