My workdays vary a lot. The course of the day depends on the task at hand, which may be, for example, a development project. However, a common factor in my days is being present on the production line. On some days, I also work at the Meyer Turku shipyard.

I have been working at Piikkio Works since 2023. I started as a summer trainee, then continued part-time alongside my studies, and for the past year I have been working full-time in my current role.

I originally applied for a summer trainee position in the testing department. I didn’t get that position, but I was offered a summer job in production supervision instead. I was happy to accept the opportunity.

I hold a Master of Science in Engineering degree. My studies have focused particularly on civil engineering and information technology.

Piikkio Works has a great atmosphere, and the industry itself is interesting. My workdays are brightened by cheerful encounters with great people. The people at Piikkio Works are friendly, fun, and helpful.
